Whatever. Everyone is entittled to their own opinion, even when it is wrong.

Carbon dating shows that Justice Stevens is actually 186 years old and should be retired.

If it's funny, laugh. If it isn't funny, laugh anyway!

So THIS is what our "Justices" spend their time on?!!  They refuse to hear cases of real merit, such as the legitimacy of our ALLEGED President Obama's birth certificate and citizenship---but they have time for this?  AAAAAAARRRRRGH!!Yell

If there were any truth to the allegation about Obama's citizenship, don't you think the Republican Party would've planted their chisel right on it and pounded the sledge till they shattered the Democratic campaign to pieces? I'm Republican and voted for McCain, but that business is ridiculous. Why do you keep on it? Because Obama's black? Who are you with? The Ku Klux Klan? But anyway, on the subject of Shakespeare, years ago when I researched looked into it, some of the experts were pointing out how some of his works were word-for-word translations of works written in other languages Shakepeare had never learned, with detailed knowledge of situations in foreign countries, while Shakespeare never left England in his whole life. It was an accepted practice in those days to copy and re-edit other writers' plays, and it was a stigma among the upper classes to have anything to do with theater. If a wealthy educated man wanted to write plays, he'd have a good reason for wanting to get someone from the lower classes to serve as his figurehead author, otherwise he'd be ostracized by his peers in the upper classes. I've also heard suggestions that Francis Bacon was the author of some of his works. I think it's highly possible he or the other writer mentioned above -- or maybe both -- could have been the real author or authors.

Some say "Shakespeare" was a collective.  Some say "Shakespeare" was among the translators of the King James version of the Bible.

I say "It's much ado about nothing."

I say, "Shakespeare" by any other name, even my own, is transcendently beautiful, rhetorically resplendent and intellectually gratifying.  He is yet the greatest English-speaking writer, bar none.

Because he's black???  Ku Klux Klan???  Puhleeez! THAT'S your argument???

No!  Racism has nothing to do with my concerns about Obama.  In fact, my dream candidate for the presidency was a woman of color -- Condoleezza Rice!!
Ms. Rice is intelligent, accomplished, and experienced.  She is a strong leader and has proven herself under pressure.  She has earned respect from world leaders and has devoted herself to our country.  I was bitterly disappointed when she didn't run for office, and again when McCain didn't choose her as his running mate.
By Barack Obama's own admission (read his books), he visited countries in young adulthood that did not allow entry to Americans, but did allow Indonesians (which is what is listed on his Indonesian public grammar school records.  The state schools at the time only allowed Indonesian citizens to attend).  Also, he attended Harvard on Indonesian scholarships -- again only available to Indonesian citizens (no dual citizenships allowed for US citizens then or now).  He has sealed his medical and college school records (something unprecedented for modern US presidential candidates).  These records would reveal his citizenship.  I know, because I've worked for a major University.
Sarah Obama, whom our "president" refers to as "Granny Sarah," has spoken passionately about being present at Barack's birth -- in Kenya!  Not that it matters, because even if he was born in Hawaii, he gave up his US citizenship when he became an Indonesian citizen.
It's interesting that when first asked to present a copy of his vault certificate, Obama, spent over $600,000 on legal dodges before finally posting a badly forged copy on his website, instead of simply providing an ACTUAL copy, at a cost of $15.
I merely want him to comply with the law, and provide a copy of a valid birth certificate.  But you say he should get a "pass," just because he is half black (by the way, his father was from Kenya, and he is NOT the descendant of slaves, despite reporters' oft asked question: "Barack, how does it feel to live in the White House, a house built by slaves, possibly your ancestors.").
It's ironic (and a bit horrifying), that in order to work for our government, civil servants and soldiers have to undergo basic background checks, but the POTUS, our "Commander in Chief" of these armed forces -- does not!
I could go on and on, but you just choose to bury your head in the sand, instead of asking questions and demanding answers.
When I think of what our forefathers (and mothers) sacrificed to build our nation, I am ashamed that we are turning a blind eye and letting it be taken from us.Frown

The Shakespeare authorship debate is the most exciting, leading edge issue in all of English literature and will prove to be one of the most fertile sources for academic research, not the old fogies but young, open minds writing doctoral dissertations.  Acquaint yourself with the amazing research which has already been done on this issue and you will find not only an absorbing literary mystery which advances toward solution every day but a new appreciation and understanding of the true genius of Shakespeare and the profound, deeply felt literature which flowed from his pen.  Who wrote Shakespeare's works if it wasn't Shakespeare? Well, who wrote Mark Twain's works if it wasn't Mark Twain? Or was it Samuel Clemens? Thomas Hunter, Ph.D.

Didn't Shakespeare suggest that we first kill all the Lawyers?
