Original sin isn't something you do.
It's something, according to Catholics, that we are born into.
The "original sin" was the sin of eating of the fruit of tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Theoretically. Had Aden and Eve had children before the incident with the snake and the tree, said children would have been born in a state of purity and grace. As would their decadence.
But. Because Aden and Eve ate the fruit in violation of Gods edict. They committed the original sin, and their children, and their children, and so on unto the last generation bare the burden of that sin. ( sounds fare to me. right? )
Now. One might ask. If God didn't want them to eat the fucking fruit, then why did he put the damn thing there in the first place?
Is it just me? Or is God sounding more and more like a clausal prick here?
