Dealing with being a single mom

When I married my husband i was a single mom to to kids. He desperately wanted a 3rd baby, I wanted to wait but ultimately agreed since i was staying home childcare costs were not an issue. Fast forward to last month and i found several dating sites on my husbands phone (I asked to log on to fb I wasn't snooping) This is after he cheated while I was pregnant. I kicked him out but now I have 3 children 6,4 and 3 months and I'm feeling very overwhelmed and don't know how I can keep up with it all. Our church feels we should get back into counceling since he didn't cheat this time onlly "looked" i don't want to what i want is advice from other moms on how they keep a "larger" family together when they're outnumbered

I raised three children by myself, too. The best suggestion I can make is to develop a network of people you can count on for support. Family, friends, neighbors ~ any or all of the above.

Don't feel guilty about asking for help and never apologize for being unable to do what a two-parent household does. If you're doing your best, then that's plenty good enough and anyone who doesn't think so, can go hang.

P.S. I do agree that counseling is probably a good idea, if only so you and your husband can learn how to communicate. You have three children together and that fact is not going to change regardless of whether or not you stay married. You need to learn how to talk, how to listen and how to co-parent. Counseling can help with all of that.

Good luck to all of you.

I am a working mother and I am not sensitive at all. Granted, if someone comes off like they think you are making the wrong decision that can be annoying. But mostly I think all working mothers are comfortable in their decision. At least I am.
