Hello to all my yedda friends and family ...

Hello to all my yedda friends and family!!!!

   Is there anyone out there who has ever heard of this before? It's like some kind of a rhyme, or nursery rhyme. I don't know who wrote it, or where it came from, but it's something my mom used to say to me every time she gave me a bath, when I was just a baby girl.

    When I take a bath, I try, try try, to wipe myself till I'm dry, dry dry, hands to wipe, fingers and toes, two wet legs and a shiny nose, just think how much less, time it would take, if I were a dog, and could shake, shake shake!Laughing

I don't recall hearing that rhyme, but it may be part of another children's poem of one kind or another.

The bit Ashoofly recalls her grandmother singing is from an actual song.

thats so cute glad  you shared with us i would love to be able to sing that my child someday.

look into their eyes and you will find perfection and unconditional love and companionship that you will probably never find in humanity.
