Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: First Date Cooking?

If you're a guy would you be brave enough to invite a girl at your home on a first date and cook for her, or maybe home invite is not the best thing for the first date?

That's actually what I prefer for a first date. For one thing, I truly am a great cook, so I'm safe there. And for another, I have a huge movie collection and a good home theatre system, so the entertainment is assured. Plus, I am a gentleman and am certainly not going to assume anything just because she comes to my apartment. But that date is a comfortable one for me. I'm relaxed instead of nervous. I don't need to try to impress her. I can talk freely. It's just good all around.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
