Complicated answer. It was proclaimed by Pope Gregory in 1582 but did not take effect in all countries at once. In the British Empire (including the American colonies) it was changed in 1752. In Alaska it changed in 1867 when it became part of the United States.

Thanks, but it's the "Holiday" check box that I deleted by mistake. I'm trying to figure out how to recover it and can't find any info.
