is there a breed of goat that makes milk without kidding?
what do you mean "without kidding"?
I am sorry, I mean that I have heard mention of a breed of goat which comes into milk without having to give birth. As much as I would like a couple of dairy goats I couldnt handle having to get rid of offspring knowing what happens to them. I havent the room for a heard either. I would be happy to find out that I could just keep milking without the dry period between pregnancies. I'd like to know if it is harmful to her to do that.
I would think female goats give milk, Did you ever drink unborn virgin goats milk? I 've did And its wonderful tasting , I also drank milk from a 19 year old female goat , Omg she was the best tasting goats milk , I've ever tasted..
HA HA HA HA HA !! She was better than the 38 year old goat , I gave that goat away , Omg she did nothing for me ..No Breeding , No Milk, No Babys ..
yes, our goat is a virgin and is producing lots of milk. Don 't know the breed but she's creamy white, a bit like a Sanaan and about 2 years old.
Thank you for your answer, I think it must just be a rare occurence and propbably not a particular breed. Oh well, one day maybe I will have the land for a small herd and all will be well. Thanks.
