Is being gay something you can grow out of?
There's no doubt that a lot of gay people choose to be gay. There's no way 12% of the population is born gay as the current statistics say. In many cases gayness doesn't need to be cured. It's just a lifestyle choice.
Kindly read back a few posts to my historical citation. All of history is filled with mass die-offs directly related to sexual misconduct. Others suffer for the misconduct of a few therefore it is not a matter of an individual choice any more than would be biological warfare.
Ask a child born with herpes, syphilis, chlamydia, or AIDS, if he had anything to do with that fatal disease. These children seldom live to adulthood and suffer the reproach of that disease, but invariably it all boils down to the selfishness of parents who do not care enough not to spread these horrible maladies.
Thank You, Steve for the voice of sanity...But sadly, 'sanity' has become a 'dirty word' in this society.
A lifestyle choice means that you choose between styles of furniture and music. It does not mean that you flirt with a terminal disease with every depraved Crisco party you people get into at every opportunity. You gays might have fifty people squirming around in a padded room poking each other in their private places at random and you don't know who has what. By the time you people get done with your little Crisco party you will all have every nasty disease that every one of you brought in.
The reason gays oppose stable monogamy is that they are into sex for thrills.
Married couples make love but what we do is behind closed doors and nobody else gets in there! We have no diseases to give each other, we care, we're together for life, and we have no cause to play around.
You gays can't say that, unless you are lying.
