Unfortunately it's due to the color of their skin. In the past, African American's/Blacks were labeled/treated as slaves and because of this there are many people today who still look down on them and feel that they have limited rights.

People around the world view things similarly. In India they call it the cast system when the darker person is on the lower cast system. But people learn prejudices by absorbing the atitudes around them. It is not inborn. Their atitudes have no basis except to maintain the status quo of the upper classes. It's not what other races think about yours, it's what you believe that counts. It really does'nt matter. Do other races care as much about what blacks think of them? So it should'nt matter to us either

Never listen to haters, try to be greater

It is my opinion, African Americans are treated differently because they have a totally different group of cultures  within their culture; Because they look  so very different in color, hair; They talk different depending on where they come from; And are just basically misunderstood by the world...They are not afforded the opportunity nor they allowed the proper education  tools to compete with other races...Until the world stops finding fault wiith everything they do , Until gives them all the same choices, chances (especially educationally, and employment; until the world recognizes that African Americans are human beings just like everyone else and therefore proned to either being successfil or failures on their own merits;Until
