Would you go on a cruise?

I have gone on a couple of cruises on the larger ships... they are huge and there is plenty of entertainment provided but I am a person who doesn't like to be confined, even on something of that size.

Frankly, I prefer sailing on a much smaller vessel with a small number of people and island hopping.  For me, the sailing part of the adventure is simply an enjoyable means of getting to all of the places I wish to visit, so chartering a vessel with a captain and a chef is a wonderful way to vacation.

When we went to Alaska we departed from Vancouver, B.C. If you leave from Vancouver you should plan an extra 2 to 4 days after the cruise to see the city. Vancouver is beautiful and clean, with some of the best Asian food I have ever eaten. My wife said the same thing - and she is from NYC. You can also take the BC Ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. Victoria is also very beautiful, with plenty of small shops, nice restaurants, and full of friendly people.

I don't like going in a Cruise Ship, because I don't find it safe to ride. I prefer to ride a plane.

I haven't gone to a cruise but I think it's like being in a resort or a hotel with a lots of people you can meet and hang out with.

I have been on 20 plus cruises with my small children through through young adult years, with just girlfriends,s husband, and soon going on a cruise with my new post divorced boyfriend( nwe will be the oldest on the boat but really do not care). I loved all of them from the amozon rivercruisethe london to russia,cruise,s small boats to big boat,travelingwith large groups of people 100, to just 2, and they were all very relaxing. Can not wait to go this March.
