Discuss Dennis Hatfield's answer to: How does Creationalism explain the fossil record?

When Darwin proposed the theory of evolution, science said, well, if this is true then we should see in the fossil record a general transition from the complex life forms of today generally get more ...

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". That was when the fosels came from, up thru the dinosaur ages, then God destroyed everything with the first flood, nothing survived.

Then after a long time God "pushed back the water from the water" and began putting life back onto this earth, the seven days(7000 year) in Genesis 1 tells the order of that re-population, including the creation of all the different races in Genesis 1-23(6th day creation), then Adam and Eve created after the 7th day.

by "fosels" I'm sure you mean fossils. So, the dinosaurs came with the earth? Or did they "evolve" after Earth was created? And you do know that the Earth is only roughly 4.5 billion years old, while the universe is 13-14 billion years old, and the Dinosaurs are only 300 million years old. So, that's quite a timeline you have there in step one that seems to occur all at once. (heaven & Earth).

Evolution makes no sense unless God guided the process, which makes atheists look like absolute fools.  The reason that is, is because they are.

Atheists have set a new low in bigoted stupidity.  You people prove it every day.

Chris

You could be right, but God isn't a white man that gets his britches in a knot when you don't praise him every 7th time the Earth rotates on it's axis.

Dennis Hatfield

God did not give time-lines for the amount of time it took to create "Heaven and earth",  Million, billion, trilions, makes no difference, just that in the beginning of creating anything He started that process.

The point being that time matters not when talking about "ETERNITY".

Think of all those years as mere seconds of time, what will He create in the time ahead that will never stop ?

Chris

Show me where it says behomoths were long necked dinosaurs. I believe that is interpretation to explain problems men couldn't adddress 2000 years ago. Sort of like the whole timeline thing. Look, here's the thing. You Christians always want to quote the book to prove your points. Which means nothing to people that don't think the book is magic. For example, If I write a book that says....Chris is God. The End. Then I try to convince you I'm god for which you disagree, is it going to mean anything to you when I say...But yes I am, look it's written right here in my book. See, that would mean nothing to you. Because the only way to show the book to be true, is to prove it with 3rd party sources. Like a criminal saying he's innocent, it's he said she said until evidence from beyond the source is introduced. SO the Bible itself isn't evidence of it's own truth. Does that make sense to you? Quoting it does no good.

Chris, your atheist cult says that Creation occurred 6,000 years ago, but we don't.  After all, atheists are militant liars and are not above genocide.  Your boy Hitler proved that he was first an apostate then went outright atheist, so that means you did that also, because all atheists are genocidal fascists.  You proved that 100%

If you have Chapter and Verse as to the date of Creation, then prove yourself.

Southern, for the 1st time in your life, try reading (or have someone read this to you)....

Young Earth creationism (YEC) is a form of creationism that asserts the Heavens, Earth, and all life on Earth was created by direct acts of the Abrahamic God during a relatively short period, sometime between 5,700 and 10,000 years ago.[1] Its adherents are Christians and Jews[2] who believe that God created the Earth in six 24-hour days, taking a literal interpretation of the Genesis creation narrative as a basis for their beliefs.[3][4]

The scientific consensus, supported by a 2006 statement by 68 national and international science academies, is that it is evidence-based fact that the universe has existed for around 15 billion years, that the Earth was formed about 4.5 billion years ago with life appearing at least 2.5 billion years ago.[5] Scientific evidence has never contradicted these facts which have been established by observations and experimental results derived independently from many scientific disciplines including cosmology, geology, evolutionary biology and paleontology.

Anyone that says the science is wrong are ignorent of God's word, for God Himself said that "In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth". (period)

Genesis tells how God put life back onto this earth after He destroyed that first earth age.

I can't buy into what in my mind are superstitious myths, but at least you don't turn your back on the information we do have Dennis. Amen, to that I guess.

Dennis, there is no point trying to reason with atheists: everything is a game to these people, which explains their humiliating and repetitive failures at all they attempt.

Onward.  There is clear archaeological evidence for the Great Flood, that it took place about 2335 BCE, and that it encompassed the whole world.  One thing that comes to light is that we suffered a major asteroid impact about then also, believed in the Central Pacific.  We are smitten by asteroids almost constantly, most burn up in the atmosphere but some survive long enough to do serious damage.

There is no conflict in the Scriptures against science properly practiced.  The Flood was one of many extinction level events that have cleansed the world of its dross and brought us along.  While it was bad news for assorted wretches, it was good news for the planet, assuring that the best would survive and the least worthy did not.

Another was the Chixalub impact, believed occurring 65 million years ago.

Finally, there is no reason that God could not have used any method that He deems fit to develop His Creation, contrary to atheists and all their nonsense.  It is time that atheists ceased their cultishness, hate, and obnoxious games, and rose up to reason that God gave us to make us human.
