Well what I was told to do by cell phone tech was use exsiting gmail address for cell ph e mail address. that did not work out well, since all unwanted incoming mail to account also came to cell phone. I then said what about a gmail account just for the cell phone. I will not use this account for anthing else. he said ok. so when I went and cfreated another gmail account . the one I had on my desktop orignal gmail name was gone and new name was in place. My intention was to create 2 google shortcut icons for my desk top. that did not happen. new account took of exsiting desktop icon. I later relized I could switch back forth by just singing in googlen the oold name and it came up.

But it would be nice to have 2 google icons each repersennting there own g mail account. is it possibale to do this have 2 shortcut desktop icons each having there own gmail address?

My cell carryer given me 2 versions one was cell ph e mail is the ph # @ blabh blab .net. com. and other g mail. one would send , but not rec. the other rec, not send. still have to contact them to try get right. mfg of phone there confusedv also.

Well I was told by a cell ph tech when trying to creat a e mail account for cell ph. may loose orignal acct. e mail address. I found this not to be true as you know, also I did not need a gmail acct for my cell to use its email feature. matter solved thanks all.
