I have a vintage heart shaped crocheted pin ...

I have a vintage heart shaped crocheted pin cushion that used to have satin ribbon "folded" in peeks all around it. I want to replace the ribbon but cannot figure out how to fold it to make it to look the same. Here's a picture of what I mean. http://i13.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/30/a4/df82_35.JPG

This ribbon has been ironed. Go down about 6 inches from the end and fold in hald. Iron the ribbon so you have a crease to work with, As you fold the ribbon you sew a small section of the middle part of the ribbon, to the thread crocheted end. Followe this process until you have the entire ribbon fastend to each thread crochet edge. You may find you will need a large amount of ribbon to complete this process.
