I am looking for a craft project directions for making a birdcage with crochet thread.  There is a wooden frame for the birdcage with grooves every  1/2 inch or so that holds the thread in place for the "bars" on the cage.  The frame can be decorated with silk flowers and a feathered bird on one of the wooden frame pieces.  In the mid sixties I received two of these from the mother of a friend of mine and I cannot find a patterm for this project.
