should I go to court on a ticket for not changing lanes whike they were working on the hwy I did not know it was a law

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. This is one of the newer laws that have been enacted recently. You, like many others, have not heard of it yet. I believe that if you explain to the judge your position that maybe he will suspend the fine and you will only have to pay the court costs. I can't see him doing both. Good luck!
