What is needed to get a judge to order a psychological evaluation on someone? What is considered proof?

A Judge would order a Psychological evaluation if he doubts someone's mental status. They want to be sure that someone committed a crime not because one is mentally ill, but because it was deliberate and planned.

Be honest and be true to yourself.
