How much should it cost to de winterize a boat

John, it all depends on the size of the boat and what you had done to it to winterize it. For a small boat just put it in the water, prime your fuel lines and start it up and go. There shouldn't be a charge.

That ALWAYS goes on estimate and you might want to pick the middle of three estimates.  There can be all sorts of goo in the bilges that has to come out, seats you need to have reupholstered, transom that needs repair, fiberglass that needs fixing, etc. 

Pulling a boat out of mothballs is as expensive as putting into mothballs.

It has to get better. How can it get any worse?
