I'm looking for a recipe for a mixture of spices, etc., TO USE INSTEAD OF THE SAUCE PACKET THAT COMES WITH RAMEN NOODLES.
What is it about the spice packet that you don't like? If it is the salt, then really you can use any spices you normally enjoy together. Look on the ingredients of the noodles and it should list some of the herbs and spices.
I know what you mean about the "spice Pack"...Did you know that over 35% of it is sodium? I generally use spices I prefer with other foods, garlic powder, (not garlic salt), minced onion, or onion powder is good, some nice fresh cracked pepper, if you do feel the need to salt it slightly, you can purchase a powdered form of beef and/or chicken broth, to add to your own taste. Be careful with these though, as they also contain high levels of sodium...My favorite finishing touch, drizzle about 1/4 tsp. of Sesame Oil on top right before eating...excellent !
