Asky wiley Curtis Stone a question here.I just learned I have to work Thanksgiving day, from 7a.-3:30p. I have a 22.24lb. Turkey..Normally, I would get an early start on my Turkey in the morning, but I do not want it over cooked, since I will not be home until around 4:00. what would you suggest I do?

Perhaps you can prepare the seasoning before work or the night before and have someone put it into the oven instead of you. I know it's not a great solution but if you could pull a favor from someone it could solve your problem.

I agree that you should ask someone else to help you out. Or, cook it the night before. A turkey that size would take about 4.5 to 5hrs to cook.

Please remember that poultry should NOT be cooked in a lower temperature than 325F. It is dangerous to cook it on a lower temp and you may end up very ill!

Good luck.

Thank you,Serenity,I think I will have my Son come over earlier, and put it in the oven for me.

"Happy Thanksgiving to you."

TWO people replied to your question...how RUDE to only thank the second person. You couldn't even say Happy Thanksgiving to both...sheesh.
