Yes, you can subsitute Tyme..
sweet marjoram is the best alternative I know of for savory. it has a really nice spicy sweetness to it.

try this link. It says thyme, marjarom or sage.
Don't know if this works, but found a reference on savory and it compared it to thyme. so I am going to try this (making sausage).
