Answers

Buy small Ruderbager's they are hard to cut. Peel and cube them 1" dice. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil when they are half way done  I add half the amount of ruderbagers I am cooking with white potatoes and simmer until all is fork tender. I find the potatoes cut down on the bitterness, some people just add a little sugar.  In another pan render 4 slices of thick bacon.  Dice 2 lg yellow onions and carmalize in the bacon fat. Mash bagers and potatoes add a little milk if two thick add onions crispy bacon salt and pepper to taste give a good mix.  Enjoy!  We always have this at thanksgiving dinner.Foot in mouth

Cooking safety

You can't leave any hot food in a bowl on a table for 4 hours. Doesn't matter if it's dressing, turkey, steak, chicken, pork or whatever. 2 hours maximium, and preferably less. That's basic food safety 101. That dressing could have killed someone. I hope you didn't serve or eat it.
