Contacts on right side of screen??

My dad is in North Carolina and I am in FL. My dad is not very computer savy and did something to change his AOL. It is hard for me to help when I can't see the screen. He said his AOL contacts use to be in a box on the right side and now his contacts are not there. PLEASE HELP
