Dear Readers; What is one life worth? Where are you? This posted article may help you to find a firmer pathway in your life. >>> Ayelet zt”l and The Ability to Transform the World By: Ben ...
The riddle of mortality will not be revealed to us until we have passed every one of its tests. How we react to the death of a beloved child tells much about us.
However, some things have been revealed: that we existed before mortality, that we each have a debt to pay, and that life ends for some of us before our debt is paid. We who are granted a chance to finish out our appointed time might only need to serve a few more years of mortality before their debt is paid.
Part of that debt is the grief we feel at the loss of one we hold dear above our own lives.
If we end our lives, with our debt unpaid, there may be no other chance to pay it. Either way it is our primary duty to learn from all of life's experiences, to become closer to one another, and to know that mortality is but a brief time of suffering that serves but one purpose: to find redemption.
Rejoice for the girl who died: her debt is paid and the pain her parents felt brings them closer to their redemption.
No one said life was supposed to be easy or painless.
Peace Profound!
