Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: How do I connect a laptop to my desktop so that I can download a driver it needs to connect to the internet?

Download the driver, burn it on a CD and transfer it to the other computer. Much better that way, then you have a copy of it. I personally have several external hard drives I use to transfer data between my desktop and laptop as well as for backups.
