Congratulations on being named "Featured Yeddais of the Month" to
Donna aka Maya Asha Elena
This is very cute... the congrats message with all the icons. Congratulations ya'll!
Well - Thank you. I really feel good about this gesture...and I needed something to feel good about at this time. I didn't even know about it.
Maya, they sent out a newsletter by e-mail with the list on it (I just copied and pasted it in). They also mentioned a prize/gift, so I thought they would have asked you for an address so they could mail it to you. Congratulations, again. Keep up the good work.
PB, I think I missed the e-mail somehow. The way you displayed this was really good. The multi-talented Profitbob.
I didn't know about it, either. Who's getting this newsletter besides you, you old dinosaur?
Hey PB, thanks for letting us know and thanks also for the congratulations... and congrats to my fellow honorees!
I am especially honored to be included among my peers. My answers are insignificant in comparison to those from you - members with many thousands of Yedda hours logged as well as many thousands of thumbs up.
Thumbs up, one and all!
granny, you're a newby compared to the others, but you stick out like a sore thumb on Yedda. Well, maybe sore thumb isn't the nicest way of putting it, but you know what I mean. You cover a lot of ground and a lot of different topics, despite your technological handicaps like not being able to copy and paste.
I'm surprised you guys didn't hear about it before I did, but then, I'm always open to listening to others without having to turn my hearing aid up. Good thing your cane isn't electric and you know how to operate that at least.
Maya and granny, since you missed the newsletter, here is a picture of the promised prize/gift.
With this message:
We would like your help in choosing our next Yeddai of the month by sending your vote to me: firstname.lastname@example.org .
All featured Yeddais will receive a Yedda journal by mail. If you aren't on this list this time around, no worries... you may be selected next month by your peers!
You know what they say: Speak loudly and carry a bigger stick!
Darn, a journal? That is SO not me... Anyone wanna trade for a tote bag? I can use those at the grocery store. They credit a nickel for every bag of your own you use instead of using another plastic or paper sack.
Us senior citizens can be quite frugal, you know.
