Discuss jkgrandma's answer to: A condominium on a river boat?

A company is selling condominiums on a river boat that floats up and down the Mississippi River all year long. Would you buy one?

jkgrandma Answered:

Nope. I like to be able to go where I want, when I want. We enjoy going various places (weekend festivals, etcetera) and residing on a moving foundation might inhibit our ability to just pick up and go at a moment's notice.

I wouldn't mind a short stay, though. Perhaps a couple of weeks?

It's not my style either. I saw a story about it on the news, and the company has sold about 25 units out of 100 or so units. They even have an 18 hole golf course.
