If FREE then I would say Avira Antivirus which seems good on system resources as it does not hog memory or cpu useage like some.... you get the odd pop up as it advertises you to buy the paid for version.

The downfalls with the FREE versions is the Antivirus definitions do not always update as quickly as the paid softwares, too late when you got the virus in your system and the software tells you after an update that you have got a virus!!

I recommend BitDefender, I also recommend Kaspersky but as a preference I would say BitDefender...... as always you will get a different answer from people as there are so many Antivirus softwares out there to pick from.

Kaspersky is good. It can detect all viruses, spywares from PC. It also had best internet security feature. Use this program on Windows XP
