in ms access, I would like to call a query that returns a constant list, assigned to each ID in a table I have, unless another record exists, in which case I would like it to replace a certain record...

Is there any way to do that?

What I'm trying to build is a kind of employe schedule.

Each employee fills in the time when he's available and the time he's not (each hour of the week)

now, the thing is that there are special weeks when an employee's availability changes.

I would like to allow him to change a day's availability without changing this constant schedule of his.

Am I clearer now?

How would you do that?

You can do it. try to search in msdn website. you will get it.

Thanks
