Discuss Tonu Sultana's answer to: Commercial Photography?

What is the difference between commercial and art photography? Lately I've been hearing that commercial photography is what sells when it comes to web and graphics design.

Art photography appears in galleries and exhibitions, and commands a high price paid by someone who wants to display it in their home or workplace. On the other hand, commercial photography is all about taking photos for business use in magazine ads, billboards, product shots for the Internet, menu photos, etc. The goal of commercial photography is to sell a product or a service. Art photography is the expression of creative ideas through the medium of photography.
