College is a societal standard for you to have a decent, normal life. It is where you find how you want to live your life in the future, and how the society wants to see it. If you are not a fan of traditional college, you can always try an online college.

Sexxxyyy33f, I will hope to take it that you are 33 years of age, a woman, and just now considering college.  Other possibilities exist but let's hope for the best.

By now you will have realized the value of postsecondary education and will be suitably motivated to learn both socially and academically.  We advance in both regards in academe'. 

Do not allow youthful naysayers claim that you are past your age to learn: you are not.  In fact, you will be far more motivated to learn and earn that sought after sheepskin that will turn your life around and give you that sought after career.

Also you will not suffer that youthful indecision that an eighteen year old freshman would suffer.  You will know exactly what you are after and will go after it with a will.

Fraternity/Soroity will be a different issue.  Age becomes a major issue, irrational as it may be but you doubtless have your living arrangements squared away anyway.  However, you would be that ideal housemother who can keep the other Sorority girls in line and on course as you also pursue that elusive diploma.

This may be your last chance.  Grab it and do not let go.

Obama's program is not working. That is why you aren't, either, or soon won't be.
