Hamas 'to renounce' armed resistance to Israel 12/15/2011

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas celebrated its 24th anniversary on 14 December, amid signs of significant shifts in its strategic policies towards Israel, Syria, Iran and the Palestinian Authority. Sources in the movement told Jane's in December that Hamas was downgrading its ties with Syria and Iran and forging new relationships with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, and perhaps most significantly of all, renouncing armed resistance to Israel and moving to a policy of non-violent resistance. Many of these changes are a direct result of the Arab Spring that has swept through the region in 2011 . . ..
 
If Hamas has renounced its demands for genocide against Israel and America, then are they sincere?  Are their intentions to side with Russia against America now in the wastecan?  Have they told the truth for the first time in their history of lies and bitterness?
We can only hope.
Trusting a Muslim is of course sheer folly.  These people have a history of compulsive lying that discredits them back to the days of Mohammed. 
IMHO these lunatics are trying something cute and should be considered as trustworthy as snakes.  That is their history.  They will not defy their religion that demands hate, unless we can assure that they have rewsumed Islam as she was meant to be.
Does anyone want to take a 1,000-1 long shot on them telling the truth this time?
