Co-defendant

I have the name of the person the defendant, but now they ask for the them of the co-defendant(s). Who is the co-defendant. Co-defendant is a witness or what is it?

If you are filling out court forms, please be advised that most forms are standardized generic forms, meaning that they are not specific to your particular case.

As such, the forms may ask for information which does not apply to you (the 'co-dependant' issue, for instance).

Fill the forms out to the best of your ability. If you want to make sure you have done things correctly, it's a good idea to have a consultation with an experienced attorney.
