Would a clogged EGR valve cause rough idle in 99 taurus? got a diag. code was "egr low pressure". it also kinda idles rough. i plan on replacing the egr value, pipe and pressure sensor. ANY feedback ...

there is a possibility that a piece of carbon has stuck the egr valve slightly open and that would cause a rough idle. try tapping the egr lightly with a small hammer to dislodge any carbon that may be in there.
