Well, I think churches should pay taxes because they collect millions and millons of dollars a year.  They are the riches organization in the world.

 Churches  on the corners are closing the doors . No I have not been to the Vatican, but know ones that have, they live on Donations, as do the Churches and Jewish Temples here..they have dried up, just as the Economy has, and with them go the people..

Tax them and say good bye to them..

 Tax churches like any other place of meaningless entertainment. 

Extraordinarily claims require extraordinary evidence. The god hypothesis has failed for lack of evidence.. Public policy should be informed by science and pragmatism rather than theology and religious dogma.
