Choosing a bike over a car

Pal I am all for biking but what is your particular situation. Do you have a family? Which is more convient? Which do you prefer? Which is the overall best decision for you. See I am teenager with no dier need to go that far if not I can get a ride from friends or other family members I am certain so biking is definitely a plus. Its good exercise, its freeing, very environmentally safe and cautious, cheap hey look at the price of gas, and it gives me time to think so as you can its definitely a good option for me. But if its late how could I go somewhere on a bike its not safe and probably cold. Also, what if I needed to just get away for awhile obviously a car would come in handy especially in a time of emergency. There are many pros and cons to each one so obviously it is a decision never the less to go over thoroughly sooo yeah :)

Well I have both. I would rather ride my bike in nice weather than drive the car, which I do. However in the winter I have no choice but to drive, and it kills me not to be able to ride my bike. I love the excersize, the freedom and the wind blowing through my hair. When I ride my bike I feel like I'm 12 years old again, and that feels fantastic!

If I lived in one of these cities, I might ride my bike to work.

I'm for technology, therefore I would settle for a vespa. (it can haul a big butt or two narrow one's while saving greatly on fuel consumption).
