Most of the time yes, because  those on the best seller's list, are really good ones. 

I usually buy books that sound interesting to me, not because it's a known author or a best seller list. However if there is an author that I like, I would be interested to read more of their books if I enjoy their writing.

Sometimes, I do check books on the best seller lists, but more often than not, I used to buy books of my favorite authors.
