Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: What to give a choliac going thru a serious operation

Been there done that. I gave my friend a very nice rosary and I was there when they took her to surgery and when they brought her back. I made sure her house was clean and her kitty was fed and watered for her to come home to and brought her home and took care of her then until she was back on her feet. Not a girlfriend, just a dear friend who needed help. I know not everyone is able to put in as much effort as I do when someone needs help, but a nice rosary and being there for them as much as you can is a very good thing to do.
