The Apostle Paul describes the Characteristics of a Christian in Galatians 5:22 as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
Some of the comments out here on Yedda by those who profess to be Christians are less than flattering. We throw slurs and hateful words at other professing Christians. We berate and belittle our supposedly brothers and sisters. It makes a person wonder if we as Christians are serving the same God? Where is the love Paul talked about? Where is the goodwill towards one another? I can only imagine what those that do not profess Christianity think when they read the comments. How are we drawing men to Christ? A non-Christian would probably say, if that's their God, I want no part of him. Are we representing our Savior in the best possible way?
My question is ; What are the Characteristics of a Christian to you? What is your take on how a Christian should act or carry themselves? I know that we all have come short of the mark, but are we striving to be better?
