What changes, if any, would you make to your education?

I wish that I had done better in mathematics. I'm one of those people who became a math cripple because the school system changed to 'new math' in the 4th or 5th grade. I was doing well in math to that point. Afterwards I became math-phobic and understood nothing.

I also wish that among the many instruments I learned to play, I had learned to also play the violin. I truly regret that lack.

If I could change one thing about my education it would be to go to a private school.  I believe the nature of public education keeps many children from learning as well as they might in a more productive atmosphere than can be found in a public school.
