i have several cd's i would like to have on a small device ~ able to choose and listen to different cd's at different times I want to select and play what do i need, is a coby digital music player with usb flash drive something that would work and how do I do it.

In general you need any mp3 player. Most players work in a way that you download music to your computer and sync it with the device you have. This is a simple process.

You need to decide how much space you want to have on your device and there are different specs to take into consideration.
