Anything from diet changes, to intestinal or other parasites, to eating something "unauthorized" from the house or yard.  There are canine diseases with diarrhea as a symptom that can be very serious or even fatal.  I'd suggest you have your dog checked by a vet asap, for diagnosis and treatment.  Good luck with your dog, hope it's nothing serious.  Hope this helps.
