Cat Scratch Fever also known as Cat Scratch Disease (CSD) is normally caused by a bacteria known as Bartonella henselae. Cat Scratch Fever is usually common in kids than adults, just because children play with cat and have close contact with them.

Cat Scratch Fever is not deadly, most people will not become very ill with this infection and usually gets better by itself over several months without any specific treatment. This infection can be more serious with people who have poor immune systems.

It is also a song by Ted Nugent :0  I guess only those of my generation remember this. :)

But as waqseua mentioned, it is not that dangerous.

Best wishes,

Pouncing paws cat toys

One of the best things you will do for your cats is a "kitty whacker." It is a toy on the end of a ten-foot string and a four foot rod that you fling about to let the cats chase -- a whole lot.

Best thing to do is get to a vet. We have a Bombay (pure black and sweeter than sugar) but she has problems with fleas and we had to get her treated for worms and mange. She's great now, all healthy and real snuggly. Bombays just have worse problems with demodectic mange than other breeds, but ...

How do you treat tufting on cats

If the cat has not been to the vet for a spell, get it checked. Then, get a grooming comb and go to work. If the cat acts like it is going to turn on you or climbs to the top of the chimney, just cut them out next time y'all are together on a friendly basis.
