I assume this is uncommon behavior? Did your cat allow you to pet and show it affection prior to two weeks ago?

If your cat used to let you hold he/she and now they dont, you should take your cat to the vet right away. it could be a sign that your cat is injured in some way.

wiglypups is right, there could be something wrong internally also, but injury or illness, something is wrong and that is your kitty is trying to tell you!
