I have two jobs..... just fired due to cut backs....can I collect unemployment?

I hope you wasn't fired from both.  But yes you can collect unemployment benefits if you were fired, and did not voluntarily quit your job. However, other issues to determine if you are eligible include state laws.  Some states have  "at will" laws and you can be fired at will and the employer may deny you from receiving benefits.  Then a hearing is done, via telephone or in-person (appeal process).  Most likely it will be in person.  But the hearing is to determine if you should receive the pay, after being denied during the appeal process.  Anyhow, I don't know what state you're in so I don't know your state law.  Click
