How does a car thermometer work? I mean where is the Sensor? Since the temp always seems pretty accurate and the wind does not affect it and if under the hood I would think the engine heat would mess it up. Just a curiosity thing? Anyone know?
Car thermometer is placed inside the hood. it is place usually in top of the wire from dashboard panel temperature indicator pointing the surfaces inside the hood.
