Sounds like you have a vacuum hose unhooked. Did you remove the air breather when you installed the plugs? I am sure you knocked off a hose somewhere and it is sucking air. Back track CAREFULLEY and look very closely to see if any hoses are off or even split where they hook on. Maybe you broke a vacuum "T" in the process if so you can get some in the help section of your local auto parts store. Good Luck
