1989 shasta 5th wheel camper ratings 25ft. have chev silverado 2000-stepside 4.3v6,will i have enough power to pull 1t? what do i need to know?

You should be good to go if the Truck is in good shape.

a big help would be to move to LIGHT TRUCK TIRES LT as these will stop the tire rolling on the rim.

need a transmission cooler if automatic and i would consider installing a fifth wheel hitch first and a brake controller then taking it for a test tow.

you will be a little slower on the hills so this is where i would test tow and also check it out on the highway too to make sure all is tracking in a straight line.

if a short box truck it would be better to have a sliding fifth wheel hitch to help out in tight tirns especially at the campgrounds.
