Is there any way to bake a cake in a 13x9 glass pan that would allow me to take the cake out of the pan and put on a tray?

Things to try ~~ Using solid shortening, grease bottom & sides then flour. Or, use a nonstick spray like PAM. When cake is cooled turn serving tray upsidedown over cake; then holding both units securily, flip them so serving tray is now on the bottom. Hopefully cake will release from baking dish and be on serving tray.

Line the pan with parchment paper or waxed paper before you pour in the batter. Be sure to press the paper to fit into the corners of the pan and leave a portion of it overhanging each long side.

Once it is baked, you can grasp the overhanging paper and use it to carefully lift the cake from the pan OR turn the pan upside down and use the paper to gently pull it from the pan. Then just peel off the paper and proceed to frost and serve as desired.
