you can buy a large cylinder on Ebay for about 850 bucks...pick up only

You can buy a compressed cylinder for $52.71 at ArtChemicals.com

I found it in Google Checkout.

Talk in about 3 octaves lower. It's just the opposite of helium.

Actually Rocmike3, Sulfur Hexafluoride is completely harmless...you don't need special equipment to handle it...check the MSDS...it has the exact same properties of Helium...it's just denser...Please check your facts before you tell someone that they are wrong...I guarantee you that most people will appreciate that...have a great day!  :D

I tried artchemicals.com, they don't carry it anymore. No one on ebay is currently selling them. And everytime I call the above number for airgas.com (because you have to call for a quote), no one answers. Does anyone have any updated information?

SulfurHexaflouride Is Non-toxic

Folks, please forgive me for reading the original post incorrectly.  For all the world, I thought he said Uranium Hexafluoride.  UF/6 is all I said of it and a whole lot worse.

Believe it or not, I do, on rare occasion, make an honest mistake.  When I do, I am man enough to admit it.

Please accept my apology.

Is a car with 145 thousand miles on it good to buy

Depends on the rig. If you find a Freightliner or KW with that few miles and it is less than 2 years old, then you might have a deal. Cars don't last very long. 200,000 miles is all you can expect.
