What do you collect? I ask because the only coin operated gas meters I know of are in Britain, where people had to feed the meter to get heat.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Coin utility meters are illegal in America.  It is illegal even to import them as curiosities. 

For awhile they had been installed in Soweto and a few other places but it was so dangerous to collect the money that they put in radio controlled meters that they could turn on and off remotely. 

If you try to pull the meter and install a shunt between the poles, the power pig on the pole will shut down and no one on that pig will have power until you re-install the meter.  The same with gas and water meters.

What happened to that $15.7 trillion dollars of OUR tax money, Obama?
